Company > Settings > VAT Settings Note: The "VAT rate (%)" field will not appear unless your account has been specifically enabled to handle VAT (Value-Added Tax). If yours is a company based in a country with VAT, use this field to enter the VAT rate. (There is no VAT in the U.S.) You must also enter your VAT registration number in the VAT field found in the Company > Demographics dialog. Please note that the VAT rate overrides any service or expense tax rates you may have previously entered in the Invoices > Invoice Layout dialog.
