About the My Account administrative module Updated 26 April 2001 The My Account administrative module is a central location for the tools you need to personalize your OpenAir.com account interface, and to select account-wide settings. Dashboard tab All users have access to the Dashboard tab, where they can read administrative notices in the "Message Board," receive reminders about account items requiring some action on their part (for example, submitting a timesheet for approval), and find out the status of items awaiting others' approval or input. Administrators can post new messages on the Message Board, and have access to the bulk user change wizard to handle group or company-wide changes to users' account settings. Account tab Users with access to the Account tab can add and track clients, projects and module-specific entities. All modules include the Account tab, and all entities within the Account tab are potentially accessible in all modules. Please note, however, that users with account tab access may not have permission to view and/or modify certain account entities. My Options tab Users at all access levels can change their passwords in My Options > Password, and set time zone, starting module, and other preferences in My Options > Preferences) Company tab Users with access permission can see and/or use the tools found in the Company tab, which controls account-wide settings, terminology, logos, company demographic information, currency rate overrides, and custom fields, as well as provides access to billing information. Exchange tab The Exchange tab contains the interfaces for data import and export between thin clients, OpenAir OffLine, and csv and other data exchange formats. Administrators will also have access to the Automated Backup Service sub-tab. Guides tab The Guides tab is where you can view and/or download all user manuals, including those for add-on services (such as Palm, Projects Connector, and OpenAir OffLine). What's New tab All users can see up-to-the-minute information about changes or enhancements to the functionality of OpenAir.com service modules by clicking on the What's New tab.
