Account > Contacts Contacts are people associated with clients and prospects. A client or prospect can have as many contacts as are needed. You can see a complete list of contacts by clicking on the "Contacts" link in the Account tab. You can also see a list of contacts for a particular client by clicking the "Clients" link in the Account tab, clicking on the name of the desired client, and then clicking on the "Contacts" link. Account > Create a new contact 1. Click on the Account tab. 2. Click on the "Create..." drop-down menu and select "Contact." 3. Enter the information for the contact. The "Last name" field is required. 4. Select the client to which this contact is associated from the "Client affiliation" drop-down list box. 5. Click on "Save." Account > Modify a contact 1. Click on the Account tab. 2. Click on the "Contacts" link. 3. Click on the name of the contact you want to change. 4. Make your changes in the "Edit Contact" dialog box. 5. Click on "Save." Account > Delete a contact 1. Click on the Account tab. 2. Click on the "Contacts" link. 3. Click on the name of the contact you want to delete. 4. Click on the "Delete" button in the "Edit Contact" dialog box. Note: You cannot delete a contact if it has certain transactions associated with it (and the "Delete" button will not show up on the bottom of the "Edit Contact" dialog box). | ||
