Account > Skills (Used in Resources module only) Skills are used to create skill profiles of your resources. To create a new Skill: 1. Click on the Account tab. 2. Click on the "Create..." drop-down menu and select "Skill." 3. Enter the name of the skill you want to add. 4. If you want to associate the skill with an industry, select the industry. This association with appear throughout skill lists in dropdown menus and pickers. This feature must be enabled by checking the "Show the related profile name on profile type drop-downs and pickers" box in the Resources section of My Account > Company settings. 5. The "Active skill" box should remain checked unless you do not want this skill to be used in profiles at this time. 6. Click on "Save." To modify a Skill:< 1. Click on the Account tab. 2. Click on the "Skills" link. 3. Click on the name of the skill you want to change. 4. Make your changes in the "Edit - [Name of skill]" dialog. 5. Click on "Save." To delete a Skill: 1. Click on the Account tab. 2. Click on the "Skills" link. 3. Click on the name of the skill you want to delete. 4. Click on the "Delete" button in the "Edit - [Name of skill]" dialog. Note: You cannot delete a skill that has been used for a skill profile (and the "Delete" button will not show up on the bottom of the "Edit - Name of skill]" dialog). | ||
