Company > Logos The *optional* "Company logo for web" and "Company logo for PDF files" fields in the Company > Logos dialog enable you to upload your company logo to the OpenAir.com site. Once uploaded, your logo will appear on both the on-line and paper versions of the following items: 1. Invoices and client account statements. In the Invoices module, click on the Invoices tab, then on the "All invoices" sub-tab, then on the invoice number, then on "HTML version" or "PDF version" (for invoices), or on "Statement" (for client account statements). 2. Individual timesheet reports. In the Timesheets module, click on the Timesheets tab, then on the name of the timesheet, then on the "Timesheet Report" link, and then on the "printable version" link. 3. Individual envelope expense reports. In the Expenses module, click on the Envelopes tab, then on the envelope number, then on the "Expense Report" link, and then on the "printable version" link. 4. Individual proposals. In the Proposals module, click on the Proposals tab, then on the proposal number, then on the "View" link, and then on the "HTML version" link. (Follow the same procedure if accessing a proposal via the Opportunities module.) Note: If you do not provide a PDF version of your logo, OpenAir will attempt to use the "Company logo for web" in pdf files; however, if you do not provide a web version, OpenAir will not use a "Company logo for PDF" on the web. In order to render properly as a PDF file a GIF file must have a "LZW minimum code size" of 8 bits. An image which contains more than 128 distinct color values will always qualify (e.g., a full 8-bit color palette with 256 entries). If your gif web logo does not appear in pdf files, try the following in Adobe Photoshop: load the GIF image and change the image color mode from "indexed" to "RGB". Now change the image color mode back to "indexed", choosing a color palette with more than 128 entries, for example the Mac or Windows system palette or the Web palette. To add your company logo: 1. In the My Account module, click on the "Company" tab, and then on the "Logos" tab. 2. Use the "Browse" buttons (adjacent to both the "Company logo for web" and "Company logo for PDF" fields) to choose an image of your company logo to upload from your computer into OpenAir.com. (Note: Images should be in .jpg/.jpeg, .gif, or .png formats.) 3. Click on the "Save" button. Note: Once you have uploaded a logo, a logo removal checkbox will appear under the appropriate uploading fields in the "Logos" dialog. |
