My Account > Company > Settings > Optional Features > Enable the Vehicle feature

You can keep track of expenses associated with company-owned, rented, or privately-owned vehicles used for company business by checking the "Enable the Vehicle feature" under "Optional Features" in the My Account > Company > Settings dialog.

1. Click on the Company tab in the My Account administrative module.

2. Click on the "Settings" sub-tab.

3. Check off the "Enable the Vehicle feature" under "Optional features" in the "Settings" dialog.

4. Click on the "Save" button.

After you have enabled the Vehicle feature, go to the Account tab, where you will see the new "Vehicles" link under the Expenses and Invoices module headings. To enter information about any company vehicles, select "Vehicle" from the "Create..." drop-down menu; fill out the "New vehicle" form, including the vehicle name (mandatory), fuel type, ownership information, and engine size; then click on "Save" or "Save & create another vehicle."

Note: Mileage expense and Mileage expense timebill dialogs will not include a "Vehicles" drop-down if (a) you have not enabled the feature per above, and (b) you have not created at least one vehicle via the Account tab.
