OpenAir for the Palm Computing® Platform

What do I do if my authentication fails? Where do I change my login information?
.
If your authentification fails, you need to change your login information:
1. Right-click on the HotSync® icon in the System Tray (blue and red circle, always running if you installed Palm desktop).
2. Choose "Custom..." from the pop-up menu.
3. This will list all the installed Palm "conduits."
4. Select the OpenAir conduit and click the "Change" button.
5. A dialog will pop up with the OpenAir HotSync configuration.
6. Change company, username, password, server, etc.
7. Click "OK" to close the OpenAir configuration dialog box.
8. Click "Done" to close the HotSync conduit dialog box.

Does the OpenAir for the Palm Computing Platform® work with a Macintosh® computer?

The OpenAir conduit intalled into HotSync® Manager has been designed for the Windows® operating system. Therefore, the application cannot be installed on a computer using the Mac® OS. However, there are plans to develop a conduit for this platform in the near future. Contact support@openair.com for the latest news.

The installation of the OpenAir for the Palm Computing® Platform application is successful, but when I try to perform a HotSync® operation to synchronize my account data, the HotSync operation freezes. What is going on?

There is a Microsoft bug which causes the problem you describe. The problem is described on Microsoft's Web site at this page:

We have a hotfix available on our OpenAir site, which you can download and run to correct the problem. You need to run this file, and when done, it will reboot your machine.

How do I check the version number of the OpenAir for the Palm Computing® Platform application?

To check the version number:
1. Open the OpenAir application.
2. Access the menu.
3. Select "About OpenAir" from the "Options" drop-down pick list.
