Proposals > [Proposal number] > Billable

Once your client or prospect has accepted your proposal, you can create timebills directly from the proposal. Note that proposals associated with prospects will not be billable until the prospect is turned into a client. (See Prospects > Create a client from a Prospect for more information.

1. Click on the Proposals tab.

2. Click on the number of the proposal for which you want to create timebills.

3. Click on the "Billable" link. (Note: The proposal must be accepted by the client before it can be made billable. See Email for more information.)

4. You will see a list of the proposal items. Select the ones for which you want to create timebills. (You can use the Check all and Uncheck all buttons for quicker selections.) Enter a markup or markdown amount, if desired.

5. Click on "Create the Timebills."

You will see a message saying that the timebills have been successfully created. You will be given the option of viewing a "Billed proposal items report" by clicking on a link to the report.
