Unlocking a project in OpenAir
1. Re-run the Projects Connector, selecting to import a Microsoft® Project file into an existing OpenAir project.
2. Proceed through the import. After the Resource mapping dialog, click to finish the import.
3. You will be presented with the same dialog referred to in the section on locking a project above, which asks: "Would you like to be able to update this project in the future from the changes you make to the Microsoft Project file? If yes, you will not be able to modify it online."
4. Click the "No" button. The project will be unlocked and you will be able to edit it in OpenAir. Please note: Once a project has been unlocked, it cannot be re-locked via the Projects Connector.
Note: You cannot export the imported project out of OpenAir into a new Microsoft® Project file, make changes to that new file, and then re-import the new Microsoft® Project file into the original OpenAir project.
Note: You cannot unlock an existing project by importing a new unrelated project into it; you will get an error message stating that the existing project is not empty.
