Task Grid The project task grid provides a convenient and easy way to create, modify or delete multiple tasks within a project from a single screen. To enable the task grid, please contact OpenAir support. ACTIVATE THE TASK GRID FOR SELECTED PROJECT STAGES Once you have enabled the task grid for your account, you will need to activate it for specific project stages. To activate the task grid, go to Account > Projects > Project stages. For each stage where you want the task grid to be accessible, select the stage and check the box to activate the task grid. CONFIGURE THE TASK GRID To configure the task grid layout, please go to Projects > Options > Task grid options. These are global options that are applied to all task grids. 1. Select the columns to display and order as desired. 2."Start" and "Finish" are the calculated start and finish date and are displayed as read-only columns. 3. Check boxes to display current predecessors and/or assignments as hints below the task grid. ACCESS THE TASK GRID Select a project in any stage where the task grid has been enabled. Open the project and click the "Task grid" link. It allows you to make changes to many tasks at once, including planned hours, selecting predecessors, marking tasks closed, non-billable, deleted, etc. |
