The Quick Search Tab
.
Quick Search allows you to find resources who belong to a particular category (determined by skill, location, education, job role, industry, and any custom attributes you have created).
.
When the results of the quick search are displayed, you will see a "Book" link in the "Action" column for each resource listed (you may need to customize the list layout of the results to see this column - click the "customize" link which appears at the bottom of the list). If you click on the "Book" link for a particular resource, the "New Booking" dialog box will appear, with the resource pre-selected, allowing you to quickly create a booking for the resource.
.
To conduct a quick search:
.
1. Click on the "Quick Search" tab.
.
2. Choose the criterion for your quick search by using the "Quick Search by:" drop-down menu.
.
3. The results of your quick search will appear in the quick search list. (Note: You can use the drop-downs below the column headings to refine your quick search.)
.
Note: Searches respect the User portion of the current filter set. If an "include" filter set is current, the search will return only included users, and will not include any generic resources. If an "exclude" filter set is current, the search will return any user who is not excluded as well as generic resources.
