To unapprove an approved Schedule request:

Note: You can unapprove a Schedule request only if you have been given that specific right, enabled by checking the "Allow the user to unapprove a Schedule request" box found under "Timesheets Options" toward the end of the Account > User > demographic dialog.

Once you have been notified that a Schedule request needs to be unapproved:

1. Log in to the Timesheets module, click on the "Schedule requests" tab, and then click on the "Approved" sub-tab.

2. Click on the name of the relevant Schedule request, and then on the "Submit/Approve" link.

3. In the "Approval history" dialog, click on the link, "You can unapprove this Schedule request. Click here to continue."

4. Enter any additional emails to copy on the unapproval notice, and indicate the reason for unapproving the Schedule request,and then click on "Submit." You will return to the "Approval history" dialog.

5. Once a Schedule request is unapproved, it will return to "Open" status, where its owner can modify and resubmit it for approval, or delete it if necessary. Time entries associated with the schedule request are automatically removed from the appropriate timesheets, and the timesheets are recalculated. Similarly, schedule request exceptions are automatically removed from the appropriate user's schedule, and all affected bookings and projects are recalculated.

Please note: Any Schedule request whose time entries appear on approved or archived timesheets can not be edited unless the Timesheets are first unarchived and unapproved.
