1. Resources: availability report.
OpenAir continues to enhance the Resources module for companies that need to schedule and allocate employee time across projects. The most recent enhancement this month is an availability report. The report provides resource managers and executives with the percentage of a resource’s time that has not been allocated to a project. Typically, this report answers the question, "Which of my resources is available to work on a new project in the next week, month, quarter, etc.?" To view the report, navigate to Resources>Reports>Advanced>Percent Booking Availability.
2. Opportunities: reporting enhancements.
OpenAir continues to expand reporting capabilities to provide the insights our customers demand. This month, we have added the ability to include a variety of new fields to the Opportunities Deal Detail Report. Users can now include deal status, rating, probability, amount, customer business type, customer territory, customer size and customer source. Navigate to Opportunities>Reports>Detail>Deals report.
3. General: significantly faster list view display.
In an ongoing effort to increase the speed of our professional services automation solution, this month we improved the underlying mechanism for displaying list views. After these changes, lists display five to twenty times faster.
4. Customer highlight: global software company Matrikon, Inc.
OpenAir welcomes Matrikon Inc. (TSE:MTK), a leading industrial IT solutions provider, as a customer this month. OpenAir and Matrikon have successfully implemented the OpenAir business management solution to optimize project management, time and expense tracking, project accounting and project billing for its global services operation. Based in Edmonton, Canada, Matrikon has deployed OpenAir to its offices in Canada (Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto), United States (New York, St. Louis, Houston, Cleveland, Pittsburgh) and Saudi Arabia (Al-Khobar).

5. IBM and OpenAir: OpenAir invited to xSP Executive Forum.
Deepening its partnership with IBM, OpenAir recently accepted an invitation to participate in the IBM xSP Executive Forum, a select gathering of leaders across xSP industries.
