OpenAir Enhances Integration of Its Web-Based Professional Services Automation Software with MS Project and MS Outlook
Two-way exchange of project, calendar, and task information

Boston, MA (April 8, 2003) — OpenAir, the leading mid-market professional services automation (PSA) software provider, today announced several enhancements of its integration with Microsoft Corp.’s (NASDAQ: MSFT) Project and Outlook applications. The bi-directional integrations enable customers to take advantage of both OpenAir and the Microsoft applications with complete confidence that information can be transferred at any time.

Both integrations leverage OpenAir’s XML API to provide real-time data exchange, ensuring up-to-date visibility into critical information. Customers can use OpenAir’s powerful resource and project management system to book employees’ time, manage work schedules, and assign project tasks that are part of a project plan and then export this information into Outlook to ensure that Outlook always reflects a complete picture of the employee’s commitments. Similarly, Projects can be managed in either OpenAir or Project and project plans can be transferred at any time.
