Registration questions

What is the payment policy?
Payment is made by credit card during online registration. You can register off-line by sending a registration request and check to: User Summit, OpenAir, Inc., PO Box 51392, Boston, MA 02205

What if I can only attend for one day?
The registration price is for the entire Summit. We do not offer discounts if you plan to attend only a portion of the Summit.

Are attendee substitutions permitted?
If you have registered but are unable to attend, and do not want to cancel your registration, you can substitute another employee from your company at no additional charge. Please send notification of your change to usersummit@openair.com or use the registration link you received from your previous registration. You will receive a written confirmation from us once the change has processed.

What if I need to cancel my registration?
Cancellations should be sent to usersummit@openair.com Cancellations received on or before 12:00 PM EST Friday, October 5, 2008 will receive a refund less a $50.00 USD processing fee. Cancellations received after 12:00 PM EST on Friday, October 5, 2008 will result in a forfeiture of the entire conference fee. All cancellations must be sent to usersummit@openair.com.

Can I bring a guest?
We are sorry, guests are not invited to the Summit.

Can spouses, children, or guests attend social/networking events?
We must limit Summit social/networking events to attendees only.


Agenda and sessions questions

I am new to OpenAir. Are you having sessions for beginners?
Yes. Some sessions are targeted to new users. We also plan several breakout sessions with topics for those new to OpenAir. We suggest that you also register for a one-on-one support session.

Where can I suggest discussion topics for the Summit?
We are always interested in improving our events to suit our client's needs. Please make suggestions on our User Forum at: openair.com/userforum

How many people attended last year?
150 attendees, 30 OpenAir employees. We are expecting upwards of 200 attendees this year.

Are there going to be any panels?
Yes. Following the success of last year's Executive, PS and Power User Panel, this year we will offer a panel that will have a mix of experienced OpenAir users and experienced industry professionals. This will be a great opportunity to ask questions about business processes and how to make the most of OpenAir functionalities.

Do you have networking events planned?
We will be hosting three networking events, for attendees only, one on each day of the Summit.


Travel and lodging questions

How can I make flight arrangements to Boston?
Boston Logan airport is Boston's major airport. Providence Green airport is about 50 miles from Boston.

How do I arrange ground transportation?

What if I need to change or cancel my hotel accommodations at the Westin Copley Plaza hotel?
Please send changes to usersummit@openair.com. Once your change has been processed, a customer service representative will contact you with a confirmation of the change. You can also contact the Westin directly. Please note that all reservations are subject to a cancellation penalty and all changes or cancellations received within five (5) days of your scheduled arrival may result in a charge of one night's stay.

What is weather like in Boston in October?
Average daily temperatures range from 46 to 63 degrees farenheit.


General questions

What is recommended attire for the conference?
Business casual attire is appropriate for all events.

Can I access the internet from the Summit?
We offer complementary wireless internet throughout all the Summit conference rooms and hallways. You can also use the Business Center facilities at the hotel at extra charge. Moreover, the Westin provides internet access in hotel rooms at a standard rate. For more information on this, please contact the hotel directly.

Can my company sponsor the User Summit?
